Strangers Stopping Strangers bring a youthful energy to the music of the Grateful Dead. They are able to approach this music with a folky/bluegrass background, (much like some of the original members of the Dead) but reach into levels of experimentation seemingly as one brain, one unit. They are able to fly together, along with the listeners, and sing the songs that Dead Heads have all known and loved for years. With detailed focus on vocal harmony and an open-minded approach to instrumental improvisation, Strangers have become one of the most exciting new Grateful Dead tributes around.
